What's the Difference Between BFR & BFR-3?

Every large BERG Pedal Kart is equipped with either a BFR, BFR-3 or E-BFR system. But what is this exactly is the difference between these systems? We will explain this to you.

BFR stands for Brake, Freewheel, and Reverse. Each BERG Pedal Karts with a BFR or BFR-3 system has the following advantages:

• A freewheel mechanism that ensures you can keep the pedals still while the wheels are turning.
• Has a coaster brake.
• Can immediately reverse after standing still.

Why Purchase a BERG Kart with BFR-3?

Pedal Karts installed with a BFR-3 system have up to three gears which make accelerating faster or riding up a hill much easier!
